I'm a backend-leaning full stack developer who spends most days inside NestJS services, Docker containers, and PostgreSQL schemas. Outside of shipping code, I'm completing a Master of IT at La Trobe, where I split time between coursework and side builds like FitForge. I like systems that fail loudly and predictably the kind of architecture that's boring in the way that matters. The core challenge was designing a clean, type-safe authorization system where User and Admin roles could access the same endpoints with distinct permission scopes without duplicating resolvers or burying brittle if/else checks deep in service logic.
